For 40-somethings who got the signal

A lab result. A birthday. A look in the mirror. Here’s what comes next.

Coaching by text for people approaching 40 who can’t wait until the next physical to be different. Set a vision. Pick 1–3 small habits. Get a coach in your messages who keeps the thread going on the weeks you can’t.

“There are consistently 1–2 days every week where I know for a fact I would have missed my goals if it weren’t for Summit’s tips and accountability checks.”

Julie Account Executive

The signal

It was supposed to be routine. Then it wasn’t.

  • Cholesterol’s up. Blood pressure edging into “let’s keep an eye on that.”
  • Fifteen pounds you didn’t have at 35.
  • You wake up at 3am for no reason. By 2pm you’re done.
  • Or nobody said anything at all. You just caught yourself in a photo and knew.
  • The doctor said “lifestyle changes” the way someone says “have a nice day.” You nodded. You meant it. You got in the car and then, what.

Most people do one of two things. Pretend it’s fine and wait for the meds, or download four apps in a week, do MyFitnessPal for ten days, and quit. Both end in a quieter version of the same problem.

How it adapts

The plan changes when your week does.

Most plans assume a good week. This is what happens on a bad one.

Summit

(617) 655-7921

  1. Walk after lunch today. Fifteen minutes is plenty.
    11:50 AM
  2. Did 20. Felt good.
    1:40 PM
  3. Good. Want to lock it to weekdays, or keep it loose for now?
    1:42 PM
  4. Weekdays
    1:45 PM

You don’t need another tracker.

You need a system that survives a busy week.

Summit doesn’t hand you a 30-day protocol and wish you luck.

It’s a coach in your texts who keeps the thread going on the weeks you can’t.

How it works

01 Vision

Set a vision.

What you specifically want to be true a year from now, not “live your best life.” We help you write it down so every habit traces back to one thing that matters to you.

  • Short guided prompts
  • AI summarizes and consolidates
  • Edit it any week

02 The Climb

Pick 1–3 habits, sized for your actual week.

AI suggests habits built around what your doctor flagged. You pick what’s doable. No 30-day protocols. No quitting smoking, getting jacked, and meal-prepping in the same week.

  • Built around what your doctor flagged
  • Sized to your calendar
  • Swap or scale anytime

03 Daily nudges

Get coached by text. Every day.

“Walk after lunch?” “Lights down by 10.” “How’d it land?” Reply or don’t, the cadence keeps going. No app to open. No streak to break.

  • SMS only, works on any phone
  • Reply with a word or skip
  • A real coach in the loop

04 Weekly reflection

A few minutes by text. The plan flexes.

Once a week, three questions land in your messages. What worked, what didn’t, what to adjust. The plan adapts with the season of your life.

  • Three short prompts, by text
  • Wearable data folded in if you want
  • Plan adjusts week to week

05 Basecamp

One quiet web view. For when you want it.

If you ever want to see the whole map, vision, habits, week, momentum, Basecamp is there. Most weeks you’ll never open it. That’s the point.

  • Lives in a browser tab
  • No notifications, limited streak celebrations
  • Talk to Coach Eric on a monthly call

The honest comparison

How is this different from other coaching?

Right now the field is splitting into two camps. Both of them break, for opposite reasons.

AI only

A very responsive way of being alone.

This is where most of the new money is going, because software scales and people don’t. You get instant replies at 2am and a plan generated in seconds.

What you don’t get is anyone who actually noticed. Nothing on the other end is keeping track of you between sessions, because there is no one on the other end.

Humans only

Real attention, twice a month.

Working one to one with a coach usually runs $200 to $300 a month for two or three calls. That is a fair price for someone’s time, and the calls are genuinely good.

But the other twenty-eight days are yours alone. And this next part is a coach’s own admission: carrying a full roster, you end up running one framework across everyone. Not laziness. There are only so many hours to think about any one person.

Where Summit sits

The hybrid isn’t a middle ground. It’s the part that works.

Each side covers the other’s failure. The AI does the work that has to happen daily and has to be about you specifically: reading your week, noticing you skipped the same thing three Tuesdays running, shaping what it asks you tomorrow.

Coach Eric does the part that needs judgment. When something’s clearly working and worth saying out loud. When you’ve had a brutal week and showed up anyway. When the plan is wrong and needs a person to say so.

The Signature Plan is twelve weeks with Coach Eric for $900, and the app is part of it. That is about what a coach costs anyway. The difference is what happens on the days in between.

What you end up with is closer to the coaching someone would give you if they had unlimited hours to think about you specifically. That’s the whole bet.
